(Needless to say, I had no time to breathe on the weekend and I want to at least make this exercise resemble some sort of quality. So to make it fair for me and you, I shall use this as a de-stressifier from my day. Works for you? Cool? Awesome.)

He likes likes it when she eats.
Her face lights up at breakfast and lunch and breakfast-for-dinner, and her eyes crinkle in this way that hits him right in the chest - because she's never had these things before and they taste and smell like heaven and a home she probably wouldn't remember if she'd known it.
Even the most common stuff - like quiche and sweet potato and pea-and-ham soup - makes her sigh in this way, this way he doesn't even remember hearing from a female, so he gives her chocolate-covered coffee beans (even though Eliot tells him not to) with a sarsaparilla chaser and just enjoys her bouncing off the walls.
And just for a moment - a short one, in the second it takes to turn back to his computer - he feels like she's his home, and it's enough to make a hungry man full.
