I knew I loved Phoenix-the-band for a reason - via ONTD, "Lisztomania Creates 80's Dancing Trend" - and they admit they like the YouTube vid better than their actual video. Bless.

I am way too happy at the inclusion of Mannequin clips not to show it off, so here is the vid in question for your enjoyment.

I could watch that all day and still have a goofy grin on my face. Or Judd Nelson dancing all day, either way.

(Phoenix's new album is ace, too - already one of my faves of this year. Procurer it, stat!)

EDIT: The song in question, uploaded as per requested.

Finally - Bonds get their heads out of their asses and a) revamp Cottontails so employees don't have to be bombarded with 28383748 pairs of them during stocktake and b) create an advertisement that's modern, classic, sexy and a lot of fun to watch while not looking like soft-core porn (and they let Sarah show her tatt and her post-baby body sans Photoshop).

On second thought - GET IN THE CAR, IT'S THE APOCALYPSE!

LOVE IT. The way it's shot, her mad hoola-hoop skillz, the choice of "Aphrodisiac", everything. LOVE. IT.
Borne of boredom, please to be having some of my favourite film clips.

(Cut for convenience, although I recommend watchin' 'em all)

Hawksley Workman - We Will Still Need A Song )

Rammstein - Ich Will )

Die Ärzte - Unrockbar )

Farin Urlaub - Sumisu )

Beastie Boys - Body Movin' )

Shea Seger - Last Time )

Ima Robot - Lovers in Captivity )

Fettes Brot - Schwule Mädchen )

Scissor Sisters - Laura )

NSYNC - Pop )

The Monkees - Star Collector )

Kylie Minogue - Did It Again )

Franz Ferdinand - Ulysses )

Miranda Cosgrove & Drake  )

There's probably more, but they're the ones on the top of my noggin. I also spared you all my amazing 80s music choices (Warrant and "Cherry Pie", anyone?) and the majority of my pop loves. Lucky.

Let me know which you loved, and tell me your personal faves, Flisty!
I'm not entirely sure why I just sat and watched Mr. T on an infomercial for something called a FlavorWave, but I'm sure as shit going to share it with you.

I've been ploughing around YouTube looking for distracting crap today, thanks to me being "missing" (don't ask) and having the worst bout of writer's block since forev.

So: here is PIECESOF'S THE WONDERS OF YOUTUBE LIST.

♥ For [livejournal.com profile] gunderpants: Tonks/Lupin vid.
To the Monkees, natch. I just know you're going to love me after seeing this, Gun.

Adrian Munsey - The Lost Sheep.
If you don't watch anything else in this post, watch this. Please. You will thank me in the morning with a full breakfast in bed.

Mommie Dearest vs The Monkees. Dig that large, large text!

BECAUSE I NEEDED TO SEE YOU DANCE LIKE THAT, D'ONOFRIO.
Or, in which Detective Robert Goren goes undercover for no reason whatsoever.

Scene from "The Posthumous Collection"
Season 4 of "Criminal Intent". If there was any scene that could turn me into a gushing 'shippy fangirl, this is it. Squeetastic.

"Everybody Wants You" - Pretender-vid.
Finally! My Billy Squire and Pretender loves, smooshed together in one handy vid! The author has also done one to "Incomplete" by BSB - IT'S LIKE SHE'S STOLEN MY SOUL. Actually, all her vids are kick-ass - here are all her vids. Yo, LeoChick!

*NSYNC performing "This I Promise You/ByeByeBye/It's Gonna Be Me" at the 2000 VMAs. Easily the best freakin' performance EVAR. Even if Woodridge Weenie Robson choreographed it. Note: fast forward to 1min 10secs, coz, yo, I don't think you wanna sit through "This I Promise You" unless you have to. "LAYDEEEEZZZ!" OH KIRKPATRICK YOU OWN ME.

♥ And finally: AJ's fave singer is Crazy Frog, because he's so high on cocaine he thinks he's regressed back in age and is eight again.

This is for my mother, who claims my LJ is BORING. I &hearts U, Mummo!
