Fanmix: Monday, I'm In Love - A Mixtape for Gary & Ji-Hyo

Of course I made a fanmix for the Monday Couple. Of course I did.





NOTES: There's a Korean variety program called Running Man. It's great, and I thank ryoflame every day for introducing it to me. On said variety program, there's a rapper - Kang Gary - and an actress - Song Ji-Hyo - and together they're the Monday Couple. Boyfriend and girlfriend only on Mondays, the day Running Man is filmed.

Naturally, I believe they're firmly and secretly and truly in love, because no-one could ever say my tin-hat is on wonky. So, whilst, flying from Rural Queensland back home, I made them a mix. It's cracktastic, sweet, slightly LOL (I see you, Davy Jones) but 100% them. Gary's sweetness, Ji-Hyo's hard-to-get-ness, the small moments, the big declarations, their jealously, their possessiveness, their Monday love that transcends everyday of the week.

Apologies to The Cure, and The Bangles who only got roped in because of their titles. All gifs are from Tumblr's Monday Couple tag.

Dude, I already watch way too much Korean television, and now you're tempting me to delve into variety programs too? (I've actually looked for this one ever since you mentioned it to me, but I can't find it. Or maybe I just didn't look hard enough)

Oh oh, the other day I was putting back reshops in the toy aisle at work (at midnight, no less), and I came across this in the Barbie section. I got crazy excited because I thought of you, and even took a pic of the package with my cell phone, but then later I remembered that I can't get pics off of my phone into my computer. But anyway, do you already have it? And if not, do you want it? I can actually get you a 10% discount, but it looks like that website gives you a discount anyway.

NO NO NO FIRTHY YOU MUST WATCH IT. It's a nice reprieve from dramas, because it doesn't require great loads of brain power. In a good way. And Running Man is great, because the whole cast has fantastic chemistry, and I'm just going to leave this here ahem ahem (http://www.isubs-squad.com/).

Okay, I just figured in shipping prices and realized that it would be cheaper for you to just buy from Amazon (I think they charge a much smaller shipping fee). If I was to ship it myself, it would cost around $25 + the $62 that you would pay for the doll. So, I think Amazon is the best option. Stupid post office and their exorbitant price rates. *grumbles*

I tried watching the first ep of Myung Wol and I just could not get into it (quit the ep around the 40 min mark). I do plan on going back to it once it's over though, because it looks like a show I'd only watch in completion once I have all the eps at my disposal. I hear it gets better after the first ep. I just have to be in the mood for it, I guess.

I think I'm the same - it's going to be a show I watch in one hit. I hate saying this, but I think the whole scandal thing sort of put me off it, too. NORTH KOREAN SPIES, FIRTHY! I should be all up in that shit!
