Things To Do Today:
- washing
- tidy up
- finish vlog
- watch My Princess
- watch wrestling
- dye hair
- write post about ~fashuns~ in Capital Scandal
- relax
I only have one day off this week (don't ask), so I tried to cram everything in and mucho failed. Got to see
weaverandom, though, and act like a disobedient puppy because she's watching Capital Scandal ("I want to watch the one with the waistcoats." "OKAY! *wriggles*") before ending the night with Eurovision (house favourite: Estonia's Getter Janni with 'Rockefeller Street', probably because it sounds like something IU would sing).
Started watching My Princess, althought I was really distracted by something - I'll use Cameron to visually show how I feel every time I open my hard drive:

I can't even begin to explain how it's eaten my brain. All I want to do is watch the damn thing again. But I shan't! I shan't!
Meanwhile, I'm enjoying My Princess. Surprisingly so, as I thought it would be a bit too sugary for my tastes, and the inclusion of Boring wasn't making my heart sing with anticipation. Also, usually Super Hot Lead means Super Bad Actor, but Song Seung-hun not only can act, he's bloody good at playing the ham.

The two of them work really well together - I'm sure it's intentional, but their faces often mirror the other's, making you feel like you're in on the secret/joke. Example, when they're trying to pull one over Seol's mum:

Cute, cute, cute. It's an example of really nice casting, and the nice thing about these two is that they are beginning as friends/enemies, as apposed to enemy/enemies. (Trust me, in kdrama? There's a difference.) The supporting cast is strong - although the Robot Girlfriend is horrible and her makeup works to make her look like a corpse with a chic hairdo.

I'm actually wondering if the makeup and lighting teams hate the actress, seriously. As for Seol's mum - I love her. Mainly because you can tell she knows what the fuck's going on:

Well. Maybe except when her daughter is forced to leave the country because she's a sekrit princess but she's made to stay by a crazy old man who says "your highness" in such a way I want it as my phone's message tone, so she writes a letter to her mum saying "LOL leaving love you bai" and they have to get it back but it's in Mum's bible and hilarity ensues:

Yep. It's not going to break any records for originality, but I'm enjoying it. And looking at Song Seung-hun's face, natch.

tra la la
My Princess - so far, so sufficent. It's no Capital Scandal, though.
...screw it, I'm watchin' it again.
