I thought The Pretenders and E.Costello fit in with the mood 'Cat People' set, non? Part of me is like, "this is too hipster and twee and angsty and OMG!" and the other half is "ANGST IS THEM YAY ANGST" etc, etc. ;)
Die Ärzte are my favourite band, although I had no idea Bela B. was in the film (mainly because he's not a very good actor and I try to avoid his IMDb page). Now my roommate has a large bruise from being smacked in excitement, the poor thing.
