Really?! From the fic I've read, I get the impression that slightly darker fics are not...received well. Almost like The Heroes are heroes and that's that.
I don't know. I think a lot of the characters have real grey areas to them, especially Nathan and Niki - obviously, but there's just so much going on under the surface, and they're the main two I really feel like I'm out of a big ass secret that only Ali Larter or Adrian Pasdar know. And I like that feeling. I like the multi-dimensional that you don't always get with Hiro or Mohinder or Sylar.
