Yes, totally agreeing with you on that. It's a really well done case of Slap Slap Not Kiss, because you can see the growing respect in their interactions. At first they honestly don't stand each other, but they bond and learn to rely on each other and that's probably the main reason I ship them, that they're too fiercely indepent and mistrustful people who grow closer and learn to trust again.
