Life, S02E06, "Did You Feel That?". In eight caps or less.

Over and Over and Over.

Lionesses Aren't Lambs.

Coming On/In Strong.

With A Little Help From My Friends.

There's A Pencil In Your Hand, Ted.

You're Just A Cop, After all.

Awwwwkward. Wait. What?

* I have been AWOL, so I haven't been around to weigh in on the past couple of weeks, but I agree with the consensus - this episode was Our Show. It had everything that has been...not missing, but sort of pushed to the side - and I loved it. Really enjoyed it, best ep of the season so far.
* The Dani/Charlie banter? I just couldn't even begin to emote how it made me feel. Like a warm, wonderful partnerzzzz bath - the orange throwing! The radio fight! The iPod swapping! Ugh. Perfect. Sarah and Damian are so obviously finding a groove with these characters - and each other - and it's such a joy to watch.
* Despite
suburbannoir's denial that the last three minutes of the episode existed, it did, and Dani and Tidwell pashed and y'know what? I didn't mind it. I'm aware of what it's going to cause and how it's going to end, but it was sweet - as much as Tidwell can be sweet - and confusing and odd and just like first weird kisses are supposed to be. They do have chemistry, although I think Sarah and Donal could have chemistry with a plastic plant (even with their overly styled hairdos).
* Ted, Olivia and the Pencil? I enjoyed it, but I want to wack Olivia and her baby voice. When she started talking normally, I really clicked with her a bit more - I don't want Joan, per se, but I want Olivia to be a strong female character and...it's just not really happening. I did love Ted getting some love, and that's really the most important part.
* Garret better come back as Roman. I'm just sayin', while we're on the topic. "We weren't, Pieces." Shush, you.
IN CONCLUSION:
<3 PARTNERZZZ
<3 TED
<3 OMG HE'S A COP NOW
<3 PARTNERRRRZZZZZZ

Oh, man the partnership was on fire tonight and I love how comfortable they are with each other now and Dani hijacking his tunes and car? Forever awesome! And then Dani holding on to the iPod chord? Even more awesome!

I am mourning the Maserati, however, and
The holding on to the iPod cord gets me everytime. Because it she could have dropped it, but didn't, y'know?

AUGHHHH!
The Maserati death throes is more important than that thing that burninated my eyes!!! In my verse it didn't happen. Not at all. It stays in the things that does not exist!
I actually thought they'd hold hands for a second there but no, it was Dani still holding on to the cord! And then from a distance it looked like she was the only one keeping Charlie from

I felt somewhere in between on the Dani/Tidwell bit. I'd be more enthusiastic if Dani got a character development-type storyline like "Powerless" again.

Re: AUGHHHH!
I don't know if they held hands it would have run true - it made when she held onto Tidwell (sorry) at the end a lot more believable. Because she still doesn't understand Charlie, but I think she thinks she gets Tidwell - even if it's not true.

(I did find I spent a good chunk of time staring at poor Christina Hendricks' breasts. Her bra is magnificent.)
I think, at the end of the day, I want Dani and Charlie to get married and have one red haired kid because they're both fucked up and sad and no-one else wants them. But that's a bit of an MO for me, it seems. So the Tidwell thing is just a means to an end, like it'll all unravel and we'll get more Partnerz out of it.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either and then I blinked and realized, no, it was only my eyes playing tricks. I do love the image of Dani holding on to the cord and seemingly keeping Charlie in his place. Or how 'bout that Zen vs. Rock, fight, huh?

I love tidwell/dani as much as I love Creese.
But for now Creese cannot exist, so WELCOME Tidwell/Reese!!! (Redheaded, freckled and blue eyes...DO I HAVE TO SAY MORE?!?!!??!)
