I'm so sorry it took forever for me to reply, it's been a crazy week as everyone's trying to catch up here, what with the whole student uprising and everything. We're supposed to finish our first semester (which should have been finished in july) ASAP, so we just started to take our finals. Anyway, I'm finally done, so it's back to dramaland for me, lol.
KEIZOKU BOOKS, omg. I think being able to buy stuff online is one of the main reasons I'm seriously considering getting a job this summer. There's some lovely merchandise out there, and damnit, I WANT THOSE BOOKS. And yes, if you eventually scan some of it, I would love to see it. I have zero knowledge of french, but a good friend of mine is a translator, so I could get him to look up some of those phrases if you want. It's so amazing that you went to Japan. Is it as pretty as I imagine it to be? It's been my dream to go there since my dad went like 13 years ago and brought my sister and I a crapton of gifts and stories. He had to go a second time, and when he came back I just knew I had to go there someday. I took japanese lessons for almost three years, but had to stop after I started going to college. I will pick it up again someday, so right now I try to keep the language fresh in my mind by listening to a lot of japanese music, reading magazines and watching jdramas and movies, lol. I have even been reading some SPEC fic in japanese, which has really helped calm my anxiety.
I love kdramas as well. AND YOU KNOW KOREAN? Admiring you so hard rn. It seems like such a difficult language to learn, but it sounds so effin' beautiful, I can't even.... some of my favorite dramas of all time are korean. My name is Kim Sam-soon, for example. City Hall and Best Love had me obsessed for months. I wept like a baby with Stairway to Heaven (which strangely enough was aired here and did quite well), even though it's so dramatic and over the top, lmao. I'll pretty much watch anything if it has Cha Seung-won in it, haha. I remember reading that in South Korea CSW is absolutely everywhere, so I'm not surprised about Abe Hiroshi being everywhere in Japan, lol. They have a lot in common, apparently. If Joe and Chiaki ever dated, it wouldn't be surprising. They have great chemistry. I think he got married a couple of years ago (to Kashii Yu, who is equally as quirky) and became a dad some time later.
