I think one of the big questions I'd ask QT is "why did you give Fredrick this family then not have it in the film?" Because I understand on an organic level, but on a tin-hat bat-shit level, I WANT TO KNOW FROM HIS MOUTH. And I think the fact he didn't have a strong male influence (in film-canon) makes Wicki's influence that much more important - it teaches Fredrick that it's okay to fight for what you believe in.
