I just cruised over to groovysmoothie (I am Australian, so can't see the episode "legally") to check out the reaction to the new episode - and I was surprised at the reaction to slash in the post regarding a fic challenge. That's the sort of reaction Spam usually gets and it just boggles my mind. Maybe because my parents are the same difference in age as Sam and Spencer, who knows - but come on, you'd be silly even to discount it straight out!

Everything you said is so true though - you can't just make a blanket observation about a pairing, because it doesn't suit *you*. For all we know, danwarp's setting up an epic Spam romance for the ages (okay, okay I can dream)! It seems to be Sam would be into older guys, and Spencer would be attracted to anything that's a bit different - and my personal experiences aside, that's why I ship them.

The kink meme's been interesting because so many people are being positive to the Spam and Jerry/Jennette prompts - and I hate to think it's just because they're under the cover of anon. I really hope the mod caps prompts so some of the Wizards and Jackson/Lilly prompts get filled. Sigh. (I hope some of your prompts were filled - one of mine was and I was so excited, I may have squealed out loud! I kind of want to spill my work on the meme too...one day... :)
