"preppies must get beat up a lot."

I am watching the most amazing movie: Making the Grade, starring Judd Nelson circa 1984. So you know it's unf-ing-ly good.

But then this happened:

(The first part, until about 1:40)

WHY CAN'T ALL MOVIES HAVE JUDD NELSON GROOVIN' DOWN A HALLWAY IN A RED SUIT. WITH A BOOMBOX.

"Learn to love yellow and pink." I may cry with the awesomeness of it all.

ETA: Random Dan Schneider cameo = check.

Pieces what was that?! *HORRIFIED PRIMAL SCREAM OF TERRIFIED HORROR*

The Breakfast Club is about $12 at JBs, I regret not getting it now.

It was the best arriving-at-uni-whilst-pretending-to-be-someone-else opener ever. He just finished breakdancing. YEAH!

You need to get it, man! $12 is a steal (is it the 2-disc one?). I have two copies of TBC, I love it that much. TWO.

Breakdancing? Wow. I remember when that was cool. I'm so very old.

Any movie that has the central theme of "Judd Nelson teaches even whiter kids about the power of dance" is probably too good to be true.

There was just a sex scene in front of a fireplace to this groove:

I may cry from the amazingness.

*gapes*

That was beautiful!

I think I need to see this movie. Like, last week. *seconds suburbannoir's comment*

He's totally got that those geriatric-but-still-more-swingin'-than-you'll-ever-be Latino Grandpapa moves down! I love those moves! *shrieks like a crazy fangirl and throws underwear at screen*

Wow, that was beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

I liked how in the dance scene at the end, when in the throws of passionate dance moves, he often has his back to the camera or his face is concealed by hair. WHY HALLO THAR, DANCE BODY DOUBLE!

In conclusion: the 80s F T W!
